Gatwick Airport confirmed the disruption affected water supply at both terminals and is under investigation. The airport stated that bottled water was distributed to passengers and staff, with contingency plans activated to maintain passenger welfare. Flight operations were

Cause and Restoration Efforts
SES Water attributed the disruption to a power failure at a water treatment facility near Gatwick, which lowered water pressure and supply in the surrounding area, including the airport. The company is collaborating with Gatwick Airport to restore normal water service as quickly as possible.
Gatwick Airport said: “A water issue in the Horley area is causing disruption at the airport this morning. The problem is affecting water supply in both terminals and is currently under investigation.” It added, “Bottled water is being handed out to passengers and staff, and other contingency measures are
being put in place to ensure the welfare of our passengers.”
