Delta Air Lines will begin nonstop service between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Manila International Airport (MNL) on March 28, 2027, marking its first direct flights on this route. Initially, flights will operate three times weekly using Delta’s flagship Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
Beginning June 7, 2027, Delta will expand the LAX-Manila route to daily flights. The Airbus A350-900 aircraft on this route will offer four distinct cabin options: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort, and Delta Main. Premium travelers will have access to priority check-in lines and Delta One Lounges at LAX, including a newly opened lounge at
Terminal 2.
This new nonstop route strengthens Delta’s joint venture with Korean Air and adds connectivity options via Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN). The expansion complements Delta’s recent LAX additions of flights to Hong Kong, Melbourne, and Shanghai. By 2028, Delta plans to operate four dedicated lounges at LAX, totaling more than 60,000 square feet.
Jeff Arinder, Delta’s Vice President of Network Planning, stated the Manila service enhances Delta’s world-class travel experience while reinforcing its status as LAX’s leading global carrier and premier West Coast hub. Doug Webster, Chief Operations and Maintenance Officer of Los Angeles World Airports, said the
nonstop flights provide Southern California travelers a direct connection to the Philippines and represent the strength of the airport’s partnership with Delta.
Details on ticket pricing and the launch of the booking window for the new LAX-Manila nonstop flights have not yet been released. Exact flight departure and arrival times remain pending.
