Delta Air Lines will inaugurate its first nonstop flights between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Manila International Airport (MNL) starting March 28, 2027. The new service will initially operate three times per week and increase to daily flights beginning June 7, 2027.
Aircraft and Premium Services
Flights on this route will utilize Delta’s flagship Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The aircraft includes four cabin classes: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Delta Main Cabin. Passengers traveling in premium cabins will have access to dedicated check-in lanes and Delta One Lounges at LAX, including a newly opened lounge in Terminal 2. Delta aims to
expand its lounge footprint at LAX to four locations with over 60,000 square feet of space by 2028.
Strategic Partnerships and Network Expansion
This nonstop route supplements Delta’s Asia-Pacific network from its Southern California hub and reinforces its joint venture with Korean Air. Passengers will also have routing options connecting through Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN) via Korean Air, leveraging the partnership between the two carriers. The route complements other recent Delta expansions from LAX to Asia-Pacific destinations such as Hong Kong, Melbourne, and Shanghai.
