The Columbus Regional Airport Authority published an updated 2026 nonstop flight guide on July 9, 2026, listing nonstop service from Columbus to 57 airports offered by 10 airlines. Data for the guide comes from the airport authority’s official nonstop chart and airline announcements, providing a current overview of nonstop flight options primarily from John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) and Rickenbacker Airport (LCK).

Between January and June 2026, Columbus saw 12 new nonstop flight announcements. JetBlue is set to resume service at John Glenn on November 3, 2026, with flights to Fort Lauderdale. Additionally, two seasonal nonstop routes are scheduled

to start in early 2027: Breeze Airways will launch flights to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, on January 8, 2027, operating Mondays and Fridays through March 22, 2027, while Southwest Airlines will begin seasonal Saturday service to San Juan, Puerto Rico, starting February 13, 2027.

Columbus Airports and Allegiant’s Role

Most nonstop flights operate out of John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH). Allegiant Airlines runs nine leisure nonstop routes exclusively from Rickenbacker Airport (LCK), located on Columbus’ far south side. Allegiant’s routes from Rickenbacker include destinations such as Destin, Fort Lauderdale, Key West, Myrtle Beach, Orlando/Sanford, Punta Gorda, Sarasota, Savannah, and St. Pete-Clearwater.

Geographic and Seasonal Route Details

Fourteen of the

nonstop destinations from Columbus are airports in Florida, including major cities and resort areas like Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando, Tampa, and Key West. Other Florida airports served nonstop include Destin, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Palm Beach, Panama City Beach, Punta Gorda, Sarasota, and St. Pete-Clearwater.

Seasonal flights such as those to Punta Cana and San Juan operate only during specific months. Punta Cana flights run during the winter months aligning with Ohio’s off-peak travel period, and San Juan flights begin in mid-February 2027. Cancun, Mexico, is another seasonal international nonstop route operated by American and Southwest Airlines. San Juan is a

U.S. territory, so passengers do not require a passport for this route, while destinations like Cancun and the incoming Punta Cana flights do require passports. Passengers on Allegiant should verify airport details carefully, as their flights depart from Rickenbacker, not John Glenn.

Airline Services and Flight Network

Columbus nonstop flights are currently operated by American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Air Canada, Breeze Airways, Frontier Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, and Allegiant Airlines. JetBlue will become the 11th nonstop airline at Columbus upon its return in November 2026. Southwest remains the largest carrier at John Glenn.

The longest nonstop flights from Columbus

are to West Coast U.S. cities. The only current nonstop international destinations are Toronto and Montreal in Canada, and Cancun, Mexico. Punta Cana will be added as an international nonstop destination starting January 2027. The Columbus Regional Airport Authority markets nonstop destinations at “55+” airports, reflecting growth with the now 57 destinations listed.

Travel Advisory and Booking Information

Seasonal nonstop routes may not always appear in airline booking systems outside their ticket sale windows, which typically extend six to nine months ahead of departure. Passengers interested in these flights should check booking availability closer to the flight dates. Checking security wait times at John Glenn

Columbus International Airport during peak travel periods is advisable for passengers. The availability of nonstop flights and airline schedules are subject to change; travelers should use the Columbus Regional Airport Authority’s online tools for the most current flight information.
