Norwegian Cruise Line has announced the cancellation of Norwegian Viva sailings from Puerto Rico for a seven-month period in 2028. This adjustment will require passengers who planned cruises from Puerto Rico on this ship during that time to reconsider their travel arrangements.

In conjunction with these cancellations, Norwegian Viva will be reassigned to Miami as its new homeport throughout 2028. This relocation accompanies a significant redesign of the ship’s itineraries, a move revealed in June 2026. The itinerary update reflects Norwegian Cruise Line’s decision to concentrate Norwegian Viva’s operations around Miami-based Caribbean routes for that year.
