Strikes organized by workers of France’s SNCF and Italy’s Trenitalia on June 10 and 11 resulted in significant interruptions to rail travel across both countries. These industrial actions led to widespread cancellations and delays, affecting millions of rail passengers during the two-day period.
Both high-speed and regional train services experienced disruptions throughout France and Italy. Major routes were impacted, with many scheduled trains unable to operate as usual. Passengers were advised to stay informed about service updates and to verify refund policies amid the disruptions.
