The California High-Speed Rail Authority has awarded a contract valued at $3.5 billion for the construction of the track and systems in the Central Valley section. This contract marks another step in the development of California’s high-speed rail infrastructure.
In addition to the construction contract, a private consortium has been chosen to assist with future expansion projects of the high-speed rail network. This collaboration reflects continued investment aimed at extending the rail system.
