Western Sydney International Airport is scheduled to commence passenger flights on October 25, 2026. This marks the airport’s official launch for traveler operations, introducing a new gateway in Western Sydney.
Both Qantas and Jetstar will initiate flights at the airport upon its opening. The facility will also become Sydney’s inaugural 24-hour airport, offering round-the-clock service options. The new airport aims to provide passengers with expanded flight choices and is expected to ease congestion at existing Sydney airports starting from late October 2026.
