Norwegian Cruise Line has discontinued the deployment of its vessel Norwegian Viva at Puerto Rico’s San Juan cruise port, resulting in the cancellation of hundreds of sailing days through 2028. This development marks a notable change to the cruise line’s previously scheduled operations in the Caribbean region.
The company has designated Miami as the new homeport for Norwegian Viva, a shift that will remain in place through 2028. Passengers originally scheduled to embark from Puerto Rico will need to adjust their travel plans accordingly due to these cancellations and the relocation of the ship’s base of operations.
