Amsterdam Schiphol Airport reported considerable travel disruptions in early June 2026, with a total of 73 flights delayed and 13 cancelled. These interruptions were reported across a range of international carriers operating from the airport.
Among the airlines affected were Air France, KLM, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airways, American Airlines, and Emirates. The disturbances were particularly notable on flights traveling between Amsterdam and the European cities of Geneva and Berlin.
As a result of these disruptions, many passengers found themselves stranded, primarily on routes connecting Amsterdam with Geneva and Berlin. This situation highlighted the challenges faced by travelers during
this period at the busy European hub.
