The California High-Speed Rail Authority has awarded a contract valued at $3.5 billion for the installation of track and electrified rail systems on the Central Valley segment of the state’s high-speed rail project.
The contract has been granted to a consortium led by Kiewit, which will be responsible for delivering the track infrastructure and associated electrification necessary for this key section of the rail line.
