Joint Sessions Address Regional Economic and Tourism Topics

The African Union recently brought together the ninth session of the Specialized Technical Committee (STC) on Finance, Monetary Affairs, Economic Planning and Integration with the fifth session of the STC on Trade, Tourism, Industry and Minerals. These meetings were held concurrently, allowing representatives to engage on shared regional development themes.

The discussions primarily centered on a broad set of matters related to finance, monetary affairs, economic planning, and integration, alongside trade, tourism, industry, and mineral resources within the African Union framework. Both technical committees concentrated on advancing strategies that affect the continent’s economic and tourism sectors.
