Norwegian Cruise Line has announced that the Norwegian Viva will cancel all cruise sailings scheduled to call at San Juan, Puerto Rico, through July 2028. This adjustment affects itineraries beginning in early June 2026 and extends for more than two years, suspending the ship’s calls to the Puerto Rican port.
Instead of operating from San Juan, Norwegian Viva’s itineraries will transition to originate from Miami, Florida. The cruise line is offering new Caribbean voyages departing from Miami as alternatives for affected travelers. These changes require passengers planning cruises involving San Juan on the Norwegian Viva to consider the updated routing
and explore the Miami-based options now available.
