The California High-Speed Rail Authority has greenlighted a contract valued at $3.5 billion to begin track laying for the state’s high-speed rail project. This contract represents an important step toward advancing the rail infrastructure in California.
Track installation will take place in the Central Valley, an area pivotal to the rail route. Alongside the contract approval, construction timelines have been updated to expedite the progress of the track laying phase.
