Seoul recorded a total of over 1.5 million foreign visitors in April 2026, a figure that highlights notable growth in the city’s tourism sector. This annual increase reflects continued momentum in attracting international travelers to the South Korean capital.
Compared to the same month last year, foreign visitor arrivals grew by 18.8%. The city also experienced a substantial rise in tourism-related expenditures, with spending by overseas visitors climbing by half relative to April 2025.
